Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your information?

ReSpark is operated by DETAIL SERVICES ENTERPRISE USA INC in the United States. For privacy, account, or support questions, email robertndawula19@gmail.com.

2. Information the service handles

• Account information: email address, a protected password hash rather than your readable password, account identifiers, verification or recovery records, and account timestamps.
• Profile information you provide: name, age, city or area, biography, parenting rhythm, relationship intentions, selected photos, and profile or photo visibility and consent choices.
• Member interactions: likes, matches, message contents and timestamps, blocks, and conversation records needed to provide these features.
• Safety information: reports, report reasons or details, relevant reported content, account restrictions, and moderation decisions and history.
• Optional AI conversations: your AI disclosure acceptance, chosen companion, messages, generated replies, conversation settings, and timestamps.
• Support communications: information you choose to include when contacting us, such as your email, device details, problem description, or screenshots.
• Technical information: service request paths, response codes, timing, and operational errors. Infrastructure and delivery providers may also process connection information, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, and delivery timestamps.

Please do not provide children’s names, photos, precise whereabouts, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for using ReSpark.

3. How information is used

Information is used to create and authenticate accounts; verify email addresses and support account recovery; display profiles according to member choices; deliver likes, matches, and messages; provide optional AI conversations; enforce blocks and restrictions; investigate reports; respond to support requests; maintain service reliability and security; and meet applicable legal obligations.

4. What other members and moderators can see

Your account email and password hash are not displayed as part of your member profile. Profile visibility starts hidden. Other members can access the profile information and photos you choose to make available, subject to visibility, consent, match, block, and restriction rules. Messages are available to the relevant conversation participants.

Authorized moderators can review reports and relevant reported content to address safety concerns. Other members may save information they can see; visibility settings cannot remove copies they have already made.

Information may also be disclosed where necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, or to protect members and the service from fraud, abuse, or threats to safety.

5. Service providers

The current service uses these providers for the purposes described:

• Replit and its infrastructure providers: host the application, API, database, and private photo storage, and process service data needed to operate them. Replit Privacy Policy.
• Resend: processes recipient addresses, verification or password-recovery email contents and links, and delivery information to send transactional email. Resend Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI: processes the messages and recent conversation history supplied to an optional AI companion to generate replies. AI processing occurs after you accept the companion disclosure and use the chat. These companions are not real members. OpenAI Privacy Policy.
• Google (Gmail): processes support and privacy correspondence sent to our published Gmail contact address. Google Privacy Policy.
• Apple: distributes iOS and TestFlight builds and may process testing feedback, diagnostics, and distribution information under its own policies. Apple Privacy Policy.
• UNPKG: delivers the QR-code library on the public app-download page and receives the connection information needed to deliver that script. The support and privacy pages do not load this script. UNPKG service.

Providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Do not send passwords, children’s personal information, or other sensitive details to an AI companion or in a support email.

6. Device permissions and local storage

The app requests photo-library access when you choose a profile photo. You can decline or change permissions in your device settings. Your city or area is entered in your profile; the current app does not use background GPS tracking.

The app stores a session token using the device’s secure storage and saves some app preferences locally. Signing out removes the saved session token. The current app does not integrate advertising or cross-app advertising-tracking SDKs. These support and privacy pages do not set analytics cookies or run tracking scripts.

7. Storage and security

The service uses password hashing, authenticated API access, encrypted HTTPS connections, and private photo storage with access checks. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Member and AI messages are processed and stored by the service to provide conversations. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not use ReSpark to send information that requires that level of protection.

8. Retention and account deletion

Account and profile information is kept while your account is active and as needed to operate the service. You can remove a photo, change visibility choices, delete an AI conversation, or delete your account using the available in-app controls.

To delete your account, sign in and open Profile → Close your account → Delete account and profile → Delete permanently. The account-deletion process removes the active account, profile, stored profile photo, likes, matches, and associated conversations.

Safety reports, moderation history, limited operational records, or information needed for legal obligations and dispute resolution may remain after an account is deleted. Deletion may not immediately remove copies in provider backups or information another member has already saved. Service-provider retention also depends on the provider’s applicable policies.

If you cannot access your account, request help at robertndawula19@gmail.com. We need to verify account ownership before acting on a deletion request.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You can edit your profile, adjust profile and photo visibility, withdraw photo-sharing consent, remove a photo, sign out, block members, and request account deletion.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to appeal a decision about a privacy request. Email the contact above with the subject “ReSpark privacy request.” Requests are reviewed subject to identity verification, applicable law, and lawful exceptions. Please do not include your password.

This policy does not limit rights available under applicable United States federal or state privacy laws. It does not promise an in-app data-export feature; requests can be submitted through the support contact.

10. Adults only

ReSpark is intended for adults aged 18 and older and does not knowingly permit accounts for people under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information or is using the service, contact us so the account and information can be investigated and addressed.

11. International processing

ReSpark is operated from the United States. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Privacy protections may differ from those in your location. Contact us with questions about processing or applicable safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

Updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Additional notice will be provided for material changes when required by applicable law.
